This slice is a great example of “Done Is Better Than Good.”
Thanks, Liz.
I yawn while waiting for my two arepitas to be done in the air fryer It’s quite late for dinner, but I don’t want to go to bed this hungry.
Also, eating arepas before this day ends is a must.
I had just finished scheduling my last post of the year on the Two Writing Teachers blog and realized it’s Tuesday. Ah! My slicing streak!
Lol
Once again, I should have set aside time to write earlier today, or even last night, but I didn’t. And that’s okay because lately I’ve been writing a lot. Perhaps, this slice is a breather, somehow. Or a way to document how writing has been in the past few weeks?
Not quite because we don’t have time for much of that; that is my dinner and I.
Also, the air fryer just beeped, so now I want to publish this and go to my arepitas.
I will say this: The writing I experienced last Thursday with Lainie and Giovanna during our virtual writing group was transformative. I’ve been thinking about how great it felt to have that moment with them and with myself. Words poured, and it felt safe, timely, and fair.
Thank you, Lainie and Giovanna, for that time; I look forward to many more!
Now I wish I could have them over for some arepas. Man, that would be so much fun.
