I started blogging in 2005, back when I had no idea about digital footprints or how to write without just venting. Back when writing was a lot more emotional and a lot less filtered. It was good while it lasted. Now I am older and a lot more cautious of what I share online and express myself.

I was born and raised in Venezuela until I discovered international teaching and moved to Egypt in 2014. There, I spent six years redefining my own teaching, which led me to start blogging again—this time, about my learning experiences as an early childhood and later upper elementary teacher.

Writing feels less of a burden when I choose to write about what I know instead of just thinking of something meaningful to write. This is why I am here. I’m glad you are too.
