Letters

As I wrap up my workday, I recount the moments when I paused to notice something worth slicing about. The thing is, in between busy meetings or tasks, my mind went to my current book club pick:

Letters.

The power of the written word.

The significance of sharing our writing with others.

The gift of writing to others.

We should be writing more letters.

I should be writing more letters.

I realize this is something worth diving into, but I want to hug my baby before we head home. Perhaps I’ll get to write about this with Giovanna on Thursday night 🙂

  1. Ana,

I read The Correspondence last year. Loved the characters and Sybil’s letters. It would be lovely to write and receive letters again, wouldn’t it?

  2. How cool that you meet to write. I know people do that, but I never have. Also, The Correspondent is the rare book that I actually bought after I’d read it, a gem, and a testament to directing writing to a specific audience. Take every hug you can get!
