The other day, I read this fun slice, and I remembered Stacey’s advice to write the shortest slice of the week. I thought, hmm, a short slice would give me time to read and comment. So, here!
Start with a Story 
This is a great mentor when you’re teaching poetry! So easy as a structure, and so tricky to find the right words! Love it!

Mission Accomplished and really well done! Like Jack, in the book Love That Dog, I never liked that William Carlos Williams poem. But I really like your version. And so true. Some days, I just want to write short and fast so I can read and comment.
